At the Hotel Catalonia Playa Maroma we specialise in weddings and honeymoons.

What could be more romantic than a wedding in a haven isolated from civilisation, followed by an ideal honeymoon full of activities such as snorkelling, sailing, sunbathing on the beach, topped by a vibrant nightlife in a luxury hotel?

1.The legalization of the act of marriage for the native country is not included and must be done in Mexico with an extra Charge (only for legal ceremonies).
2. Medical exams have an extra cost. (only for legal ceremonies).
3. All prices are subject to changes.
4.Rates are based on wedding groups up to 20 persons. Extra charges for the set up and services for additional wedding guests.

Documents
The bride and groom plus their 4 witnesses must arrive to the hotel at least 5 working days before the wedding day in order to prepare all the legal documents required for the legal wedding ceremony (arnvai day does not count).
The following documentaron is required:
Copy of the brides and grooms passport (oniy passport is accepted).
Tourist card received on arrival day at Cancun International Airport (please write the full name exactiy as it is wtitten in the passport).
If the bride has been married before it is important that the passport reads the maiden last name. Otherwise, if it reads the ex-husbands last name, the original birth certificate will be required.
IMPORTANT: An "Apostille" is required for the original birth certificate (document with a stamp that gives validity to a document) as well as an official translation into spanish language (this document aiso has to come with the -Apostille"). The city hall does not accept foto-copies, original copies are required. Piease contad our wedding coordinator for further information.
If either the bride or groom has been married before. the divorce certificate should be dated of more than one year.
Medical Exams must be done by the hotel's doctor in MÃ©xico
(the cost is about $120 USD per person, subject to changes. and has to be paid in cash directly to the doctor)
A minimum of 4 witnesses are required, each with a copy of their passports and tourist cards.
