Documents
   • VALID PASSPORTS: Passports are now required for US Citizens for entry into Mexico and they are mandatory for Weddings as well.
   • TOURIST VISA: Provided upon entry to Mexico at the airport
   • BIRTH CERTIFICATES: Women who have a different last name than the one on their
passports (from a previous marriage etc) need to bring original certified copy of their birth certificate, apostille and translated by the legal authorities in their country (to make it internationally accepted), these birth certificates will be kept by the Justice of Peace.
   • PROOF OF BLOOD TEST: All blood tests must be done with in Mexican Territory, we suggest getting them done in Playa del Carmen. Blood tests have to be certified by a doctor in Mexico, as required by the Civil Minister (Requirements for blood test are: RandH factor,blood type and HIV test)
   • FOUR WITNESSES: are required by law. If witnesses are not Mexican Citizens they must provide a copy of their passports and their tourist visa, they must arrive at least 3 working days prior to the ceremony. If necessary the Hotel can provide the witnesses (a surchargeof $25 USD will apply per witness)

These documents should be given to the Justice of Peace two working days before the Wedding (Civil Registry Office open from Monday to Friday).We will make the reservation for the Justice of the peace as soon as you confirm the Wedding day and time of the ceremony. CEREMONY WILL NOT BE PREFORMED UNLESS ALL DOCUMENTS ARE IN ORDER (NO EXCEPTIONS) All laws and requirements are set by the Mexican Government and are subject to change at anytime in accordance with Mexican laws.

Policies

   • 1,000.00 USD deposit in order to start the Reservations (City Hall, Vendors, etc) and arrangements.
   • The remaining balance must be paid 21 days before the Wedding date. All optional services are to be paid for in resort by cash or Credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express) the day prior to the Wedding, directly to the Wedding coordinator.
